These are the instructions for downloading the videos using the DownThemAll plugin. See below for instructions for downloading using Amazon Web Services (AWS).
  • Install Mozilla Firefox
  • Install the DownThemAll plug-in for Firefox: http://www.downthemall.net/

  • You should receive a page with a directory listing of the corresponding Amazon S3 bucket. You may need to wait a few seconds as the page loads. Each file in the directory is an individual video.
  • You can either download one or more manually or
  • in Firefox, choose Tools-> DownThemAll Tools->DownThemAll
  • Click the disclosure triangle labeled Fast Filtering
  • In the Fast Filtering text field enter /(.mov)$/ for the description and recognition tasks, or /(.wmv)$/ for the anomaly and gapfill tasks
  • Right click the selected video and choose Select Filtered
  • Choose where you'd like to save the files in the Save Files In pop-up
  • Click Start!

Download using Amazon Web Services

Each set of videos is stored on Amazon's Simple Storage Service (S3) as a publicly accessible 'bucket'. You can access the bucket using the bucket's name, which is the part of the URL preceeding 's3.amazonaws.com'. For example, to access the videos in the set  mindseye-y1-development, located on 'mindseye-y1-development.s3.amazonaws.com', use the bucket name 'mindseye-y1-development'. Simply install an S3 tool, such as  Cloudberry S3 Explorer, create an S3 account and add the bucket as an 'external bucket', i.e. a bucket that is not your own but that you have access to, and copy the files to a location of your choice.
